PSP Slim Downgrade
2009
There are several ways to downgrade. But I have found the easiest one to make your PSP Slim compatible again.
Downgrading can be wonderful if you want to be able to install homebrew software and games. It also will allow you to play DVD movies from your memory stick, and unlock all kinds of other things that the PSP is capable of. But, if you don’t follow the directions carefully, you can have yourself a good paperweight.
You will be able to play all the homebrew games you want, including games not originally made for the PSP. For example SNES, Atari and Megadrive games, ever fancied a bit of Mario or Sonic on your PSP. You will be able to use all of your favorite software not released for the PSP, now this has endless uses and you will be amazed at what you can do with your PSP. All for something that takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Some say that you will need an extra psp slim battery to do this, but you don’t. You can apply this while running on AC power with the wall power supply.
So, if you are new, or if you want to keep your investment safe, you need to downgrade PSP Slim firmware using the original PSP Slim downgrading guide. It will show you step-by-step how to downgrade, plus there are instructional audio and videos. Anyone can do it!
